A small rhythm of seven.
A sculptural pair inspired by the ancient calculating tool.
Part of the Abacus series, which explores rhythm, number, and quiet fortune through wearable forms.
The abacus has long been used to count, measure, and understand the rhythms of numbers. In this design, seven bronze beads are arranged in a simple line — a small sequence that echoes balance, movement, and quiet repetition.
Seven has long been considered a number of luck and harmony, bringing a subtle symbolism to the piece.
Individually cast and finished in my studio, each pair carries subtle variations that make it unique.

These pieces are made from high quality .925 sterling silver. They are made to use every day and to last more than a lifetime. Some wear and tear will likely occur with use. It is natural for silver to acquire a patina over time and to accumulate a history of marks and scratches building character that will tell a story unique to you.
Silver will maintain a polished look if it is worn and handled every day, buffed by your skin and by the fabrics and materials that you surround yourself with. If you will be storing jewelry for an extended period of time it is recommended to keep in an air tight container to minimize oxidation. If you would like to add a little lustre a silver polishing cloth or other silver polishing compounds are recommended.
